Happy Beanz is a dog-walking and pet-sitting service.

Areas Covered:

We mainly service the Belfast area, especially BT8, BT9, BT10, BT11, BT12, BT13, BT14. We are open to further distances but may require a service charge. We will always check first and come back with a decision depending on the commute time. If not us, we will try to signpost you to a more local service.

Enquiries:

We are open to weekend hours (all day). We wanted to create a service that helps people in need who work variable or longer than normal shifts, not just people who work regular business hours. If you need weekday coverage outside normal working hours, we may be able to accommodate.

Services and Pricing:

Meet and Greets are where we meet with you and the pets prior to any services agreed. This is free.

*Overnight stay in home means I stay in the home with your pet, presumably 8-10 hours, with a walk at the beginning and end of the service. If additional time is necessary, please enquire for a quote and we will see if your needs can be accommodated.

By default, we assume we are coming out for walks, however I am aware a guardian may simply need home visits for various reasons (medical, reactivity, etc.) and we will discuss those needs at the Meet & Greet and intake.

If you live near the Royal Victoria Hospital or Springfield Road Fire Station we may offer a proximity discount.

A recurring weekly visit/walk booked and paid in advance will come at a 10% discounted rate.

Cancellations must be made within 48 hours or the walk.

Safety:

Intake: Presuming after meet-and-greet you are happy to proceed, we will send an intake form. Please complete this thoroughly! We want to ensure everyone’s fun and safety.

We are insured through Productively.

There is water, a first-aid kit, and high-value treats available every walk.

Pet First Aid and CPR Training in progress. (Previously trained, currently expired.)

We start with your pet(s) familiar routine as advised and if you want we can work up from there.

Pets are always on lead. As we get to know each other better, we will utilise long-lines for more freedom if you are happy with this instead of risking them becoming lost.

Phones are not used except for photos and video of the dog(s) or in communication with their guardian and/or relevant parties.
